Favorite Baby Food Recipes: Mashed Cados Creamy Nanner-Cado Delight A Recipe for Mom & Dad:
We love the simplicity of baby food - whole, healthy food that is so easy to prepare!
1. Peel and de-pit a ripe avocado
2. Cut "meat" out and mash with a fork
3. Avocados do not need to be cooked

3. Peel and mash 1 banana
4. Place in a blender or food processor and puree. *Avocados and Bananas do not need to be cooked.
Chicken Quesadillas
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. Chicken broth
1/4 cup Chopped onion
1 Small clove garlic minced
1/4 cup Chopped bell pepper
2 Chili peppers, minced
3 Plum tomatoes, chopped
Vegetable cooking spray
8 Flour tortillas
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups Cooked chicken
Garnish: salsa and guacamole
Preparation
1. In a medium heavy skillet saute the onions, garlic, and peppers in
the 2 tablespoons chicken broth until soft.
2. Add the chile peppers and tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes more
until the liquid has evaporated.
3. Add the chicken and stir well to combine.
4. Spray a cold skillet with the nonstick spray and heat over medium
heat.
5. Place a tortilla in the pan and sprinkle with 1/8 cup cheese.
6. Add about a quarter of the chicken mixture and top with another 1/8
cup cheese.
7. Cover with another tortilla and cook for 2-3 minutes or until brown.
8. Flip the quesadilla over and cook for an additional two minutes.
9. Remove from the heat and cut into wedges.
10. Keep warm while frying the remaining quesadillas.
11. Serve with salsa and guacamole.

We would like to give a big THANKS to our wonderful Doula, Patti Ramos. She was so nice to put an awesome post about Stroller Boot Camp NW on her blog www.doulapattiramos.com. If any of you are looking for a Doula for the birth of your babies, there is no one more knowledgeable, caring and honest than Patti. She helped bring both of our babies into the world and is a friend for life. If you are not sure about having a Doula at your birth, you MUST at least attend her Birth Preparation Workshop and Ice Journey, certainly the only birth class, well couple’s class, you will ever need! If you are lucky enough to be able to time it right, you can take the Workshop over the weekend at Ocean Shores! Thank you for everything Patti! We love you!
